In connection with the upcoming image change, Kompania Piwowarska decided to redesign its corporate website KP.PL.

It will have to clearly show what Kompania Piwowarska and brewing are. Thus, three months after the presentation of the new logo, the company launched a new website.

Problem

The original KP.PL website was overloaded with materials. All of the content caused a significant slowdown in loading the site, and the navigation itself left much to be desired.

Users visiting the KP.PL website got lost on it - and it was supposed to be an important means of communication and education from the point of view of Kompania Piwowarska.

Our team have received a green light to take actions connected with the change of the KP.PL website - the task we faced was to refresh the KP.PL website so that the spirit of brewing and attachment to the brewing tradition going in equal rhythm with modernity, aesthetics and assimilation of information about the company and its products.

1. Contents

From the point of view of the architecture of the site - are an extremely important issue. We had to review all the existing information contained on the site and basing on the "weight of information" presented to us, build the entire site from scraps.

The multitude of the company's products and communications KP.PL had to pass forced us to adopt an appropriate gradation of information.

2. Intuititive navigation

We designed a non-standard way of navigation on the site, which was supposed to reflect the walk through the brewery. For first, the most important information from the user's point of view are presented in the navigation bar.

The second, after scrolling into the content of the given section, the information relevant to her ultimately. Thus, there was the possibility of transferring a large amount of content in an accessible way - in stages.

3. Elegant & aesthetic

The new page had to be elegant and aesthetic. We prepared sets of icons and animations, thanks to which we could provide information and thus save space for other content - everything was of course designed in close consultation with Kompania Piwowarska in the accompaniment of the rebranding of the whole company.

4. Development

During development we aimed for two major requirements while bringing the designs to live - pixel perfect quality and highest performance across all devices. Hence, we used the latest front-end technology, together with optimization and quality assurance phase to ensure both. Additionally, we have implemented custom made CMS allowing the client to manage and edit majority of the website content.
