Meeting

The Beginning
Invitation to Pitch

Hoard is a startup building an innovative blockchain-based framework to enable true-ownership of virtual content.
Hoard attracted a team of experienced and talented gaming industry veterans and blockchain experts to create a platform that will change the paradigm of the gaming industry.

They were also looking for a partner to help them to shape their value proposition, define UX Strategy and the Product Roadmap. We were really proud to find out that Hoard had chosen to work with Flying Bisons over anyone else.

1. Proto-personas, key user scenarios and key user journeys.

2. Hoard ecosystem mapped from users’ perspective: channels and touchpoints identification.

3. Touchpoints prioritisation and identification of key moments of truth.

4. UX Strategy Concept

5. Roadmap of the design work to execute.

The Foundation
Bespoke Discovery Phase

The UX Process is the very foundation of every project for us. Even though we have our standard processes, we take a highly personalized approach to each project.

We spend a couple of days defining our process that is designed exclusively to meet Hoard’s needs, requirements and expectations.

Key Value of the Process
How do we Define Optimal Processes?

We believe that failing to plan is planning to fail. The right strategy and plan for the process is the key factor that defines the final results. To create bespoke processes, we take into consideration the entire context of the product environment, as well as the other aspects, such as market, user needs, business requirements and more.

The Pre-Kickoff Work
Preparing for the Project

We start every project with an extensive industry study to understand the context of the product, market trends and stakeholders’ perspective. We also review all the competitors, as well as market-related companies to get some inspiration. The last part of this process is desk research, to fill any gaps and learn even more.

People

“Flying Bisons helped us ensure that all of our teammates were on the same page, despite some slight differences. We weren’t just a bunch of people working on the same task, which was refreshing. They also directed our focus for marketing, as we identified our target customers and how to communicate with them.”

Sharing the Knowledge
Discovery Phase Presentation

We believe that the Discovery Phase is really important, as this is when the knowledge we’ve gathered is shared with every member of the team, and all stakeholders. With that in mind, we organised a board presentation to share the insights gathered over our 200 hours of work.
