Personas

While working on the project, it is necessary to remember who the users of the product will be. During the design work, it is useful to visualize them with the use of Personas, which are an appealing description of their attributes, cognitive skills, needs, and goals. Personas task is to bring the project team closer to the various groups of users and to facilitate the decision-making process related to the functional design and graphics interface of the product.
Personas are most often based on interviews with real users, prepared on the basis of the initial assumptions described in the proto-person. Personas can, therefore, be defined as the effect of updating and validating the previously developed proto-person. Finally, they collect verified information about what users want and what they fear, as well as what they do and what their environment looks like. This allows you to design the product so that it meets the users’ needs and their entry barriers.
